I appreciate the honesty about how much work it is to help these dogs which will hopefully weed out the people that think it's going be easy and then get frustrated and give up - with the dog likely being euthanized. I hate that there are so many unwanted dogs that get euthanized. It's heartbreaking and we need strong laws that reduce breeding and selling.

What a lovely story!! One super point she made that was so important is that fostering is not easy, it has bad times and bad moments. Super patience is needed. Blessed are those that foster. They do have a special place in heaven. Maybe at St. Frances’ table?

There is no love more potent than the love of a rescued animal for the person that saves her or him; it can change lives in ways unimaginable, transform everything in blissful love, and this is a priceless life experience all of us whould experience. Furthermore, dogs are the creatures that are closest to angels of all creatures in our world, for they can love unconditionally, and put us in a state of grace like no other living thing on Earth. A rescued dog can perform the work of a therapist in a much more effective, and efficient way.

Poor sweetie, why isn't there a "Terrified" category when the animal is so scared that you can't tell if they are aggressive or not? My Love & respect to all the rescuers, fosters and volunteers who do so much!
