“Xbox Update For Testers Will Let Users View Secret Achievements. A new Xbox update is out now for testers that lets users reveal details on secret Achievements, a feature that has been available for PlayStation users for years. This feature is available today for Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead members in the Xbox Insider program--this is a free program open to everyone. You can sign up here. Users can now see details on "secret" Achievements from the guide--this also reveals them in the Achievement tracker.”

“It looks like FIFA 22 and Battlefield 2042 are on their way to Xbox Game Pass. A Microsoft store update hints both games are heading to the subscription service. Whilst not formally confirmed by Microsoft nor Electronic Arts - so treat this as a rumour for now - both games now sport the Game Pass logo (thanks, XGP, via NME) on the former's online store, suggesting they may get their debut on Microsoft's subscription service next month.”

“Starfield Leaks From Bethesda Dev Detail "Crap" Flying & Broken Engine. Starfield leaks from a former Bethesda employee detailed that the flying mechanic isn’t fun and the game’s Creation Engine 2 is broken. A former Bethesda employee dropped Starfield leaks, claiming the flying mechanic is not fun and the game’s engine is broken. Since its debut announcement in 2018, Starfield has become one of the most highly anticipated games of 2022. While Bethesda has provided occasional glimpses of the sci-fi space opera described as “Skyrim in space,” there has been no official gameplay trailer and only a few select images have been officially released. That said, supposed leaked screenshots have appeared online over the last few months, such as a set of images that suggest Starfield will include building customization.”

“Tomb Raider's New Owners Have Been Snatching Up Old Series For Years Now. The video game industry is undergoing a tidal wave of consolidation right now, and Swedish holding company Embracer Group is riding it to become one of the newest players in a rapidly shrinking space. A few years ago most people had never heard of it. Now it’s bigger than rivals like Ubisoft and Capcom, and set to get even bigger as it scoops up Square Enix’s Tomb Raider and Marvel’s Avengers studios.”

“Leaked images suggest the next Forza Motorsport is coming to Xbox One after all. Two leaked screenshots, reportedly of the next Forza Motorsport game, have popped up online. Posted to r/gamingleaksandrumours over the weekend, the images - reportedly taken in July 2021 - have been deemed authentic by the subreddit's moderating team. If true, this means the new racing instalment will be coming to Xbox One as well as Xbox Series X and PC (thanks, Dualshockers). Up until this point, it has not been confirmed as a cross-gen title and while we, naturally, need to wait for official confirmation either way, if true it's quite a surprise from developer Turn 10.”
