I've read of Mavic owners have drifting issues (e.g. slight yaw drift when hovering, or even horizontal drifting). Will IMU calibration help with this?

I remember for the Phantom series it was of absolute importance to IMU calibrate on a PRECISELY level surface.
Is this the same for the Mavic?

I even download an app from DJI website to calibrate compass since it was really frustrating when screen prompting "compass calibration required" message ... This time it really worked. Very self explanatory, no more calibration needed and if that's the case, i know how to quick fix the problem !!! ...

DJI support. Please clear if the camera of the Mavic shoots softer (more noise) footage in 4k as the Phantom 4 . I see many tests like the one of Casey where the footage of the Mavic is not as good/crisp in 4K as the Phantom 4. Thank you for an unbiased answer.

When you swap to camera view it looks like it's able to record. Can you record using the gimble with it folded up?

My mavic on each startup states IMU initiating, , , however this process takes over 2 minutes before ok to fly. I calibrated several times. Each time states Success. But initiation still takes over 2 minutes. Online tech support tells me to calibrate IMU every startup. Why. .? Go app does NOT state calibrating of IMU required.

What does DJI recommend for video settings before colour grading? AWB? DLOG? etc? Some settings from a few of your drone operators would be great. thanks

Why doesn't this video talk about the importance of IMU calibration or what this even means? Instead it spends so much time going through the device positioning. This video could be so much more helpful.
