Over 7000 Diecast Model Cars

My friend Dennis shares his awesome Lionel O Scale / Gauge Model Railroad train layout.

Dennis shares he received his first train set from his Father in 1947. He’s built several layouts and had to take them down. When he moved in this house, he made sure the house would have room for his passion, the trains. This layout has many original Lionel buildings and devises from the 1950’s, which includes a coal loader, farm scene where you load the cattle, a city environment, bridges, mountains, and a working saw mill!

Every area on the layout is complete. The engines, cars, and scenery on the layout are of the highest quality, all add realism, and just a wonderful experience to view.

This is just amazing!

Nice to see some of those old Lionel locos, cars and esp. that crossing guard and shanty. Brought back memories from another age.

Wow Lou you never fail . Im now 52 back in the mid to late '70s I was a Scout and we camped at Camp Obastika in Ontario and the Scout Master that lived in a house in the camp was an old fella we called Dad, he was a widower and spent his life building a 'N' scale layout setup that ran through the Entire basement ! .. I haven't thought about it in a long time even though I recall Dad and the things he taught us . Thanks Lou .

Great layout. I love the accessories, men flying off, milk cans all over the place, classic Lionel!! Which I was young again.

11:47 to 11:49 you can see sparks on the trolley. To be honest, that’s a very cool layout. I have a train collection and i build layouts that are limited and then then take it apart. I do it because I want to build a layout someday and just watching your videos, they give me a higher chance of building a big train layout. My nicest train is the Lionel Santa Fe twin diesel set, its rare

Lou...with all the planning and execution of this fantastic layout probably has just about or more time and effort as restoring a vehicle..just incredible job..and makes me think that the younger generation has little desire for train collecting...it kept my brothers busy through many a cold winter..thank you to Dennis and You for this great video.

GREETINGS, from Venezuela, the double train layout in the ceiling around the room is a good idea if you don't have space, I like the curve bridge, the lumber drop machine it make me laugh and the coal loaded machine. Thanks Mr Lou for this video.

My grandfather started with a small Lionel Lines steam locomotive which she surprisingly still ran but not too often. Some days she'd get power from the track and run and then the second I'd change the direction she'd stop in her tracks. Motor would also get a burning smell sometimes, too. His second was a New York Central Hudson. I'm not sure what the timeline was between the two as he married my grandmother in 1968 and my father was born in '72 when they had moved from Wales to Guelph, ON, Canada so it was either between '68 and '72 or after my dad was born. He's got an infamous Canadian Pacific diesel locomotive that derailed some years back, too. I don't remember when it was, but I don't she was ever able to be put back into service.
