Solving linear equations - GCSE maths level 5 question

Показать описание

This video is all about how to solve a linear equation and forms part of the playlist on solving equations. I've also added to the playlist on GCSE higher revision.

This particular question is around level 5 GCSE mathematics and asks to find the value of x:

5x - 10 = 18 - x all over 3

Providing you balance both sides it can be fairly straightforward, although you need to get rid of the denominator straightaway.

I hope the video helps and please do leave a comment - thanks!
