I have been doing ADF for almost a month during my lockdown in China, and as someone who has NEVER been toned or lean or even not chubby, I can tell you, this is the best thing ever. Not only for the energy burst, but also for the time management and how easy it is to get in the zone

I finally gave ADF a shot. True ADF. I gained 28 lbs during Covid. I was sent to the covid tents and worked 12 hr shifts with no days off from MArch to June. it was brutal. I ate bad food again, bc of all the treats we nurses were given in the tents plus all the cortisol ...just made my weight go up. and on my short frame? I went from 112 before covid lockdown to the 140s by July. I tried to go back to omad in August and I just couldn't. So i went to ADF but modified where I ate one day and had one meal the next. I was so upset that I lost only 5 lbs in 30 days. Well the next month I did true ADF and lost 18 lbs. WHOA. IT gave me so much confidence that I did a 72 hour and now in a 5 day fast. 1 lbs away from goal now and I am going to make True Adf's a part of my life now.

I've been doing ADF for about a month! (IF for 6 months). I do clean fasts, since I'm after both weight loss and autophagy. Some days are harder than others but all in all, my goal is to keep it up for a total of 2 months and then change my protocol again. The best advice I got concerning ADF was to make sure to have at least 2 meals on eat days (so at least a 6 hour window). Anything less and there's a risk to slowing your metabolism :) Good luck!

I really enjoy ADF and have been doing it since 2017. It was so natural for me after doing keto for around six to eight weeks I just fell into ADF because I wasn't hungry everyday. At that time it wasn't a popular fasting protocol in the I.F. community like it is now. I did some research on my own to see if there was anything about it. Once I found the studies that were being done and read Dr. Varady's book I felt comfortable that I wasn't hurting myself or falling into and ED. I had to adjust my ADF after reaching a healthy weight, but I still do a modified version by fasting M, W, F, and eating the rest of the week. This helps me keep ADF, and not continue to lose weight.

Fasting is so powerful, I use every IF protocol depending on my schedule.

The hunger after the fast is real 😂😂🤣 dreaming about and smelling food that isn’t even there. Disrespectfully 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

I'm so glad to have found your videos! I started ADF in Nov 2023. I lost 8 lbs in approx. 2 weeks. I fell back into my bad eating habits last month in Dec 2023 and by the end of the month, I couldn't take carrying around this extra weight any longer. I've started back up again, tomorrow will make 2 full weeks of ADF this time around. I've already dropped another 6 lbs. I'm going to try weighing myself once a week. My goal is to lose another 25-30 lbs, then work on maintenance. Thank you so much for sharing!

I just started ADF today . I'm planning to keep going till I reach my weight loss goal. I'm 203lbs as of today but I want to get down to 175lbs this year. It's 3:39 pm and my tummy is like, "where's the food at bud?"

I've been doing ADF for a couple weeks and find it very easy after the first couple times. I was doing OMAD before and was just intrigued by ADF. I plan to do ADF until I reach my goal and then go back to OMAD for maintenance. I find intermittent fasting is the easiest way I have discovered to lose weight. I don't feel deprived at all; I feel better; sleep better and have virtually no cravings. No counting calories, macros, no measuring and no off-limit foods (though, I try to eat healthy since I'm only eating every other day). I won't ever go back.

This is right on time!!! I just started last Friday. I'm going for 3 months. I want to lose 40 lbs. I do omad in an hour window on eat days. I'm trying to eat better or even keto but I figure that will come and right now I just eat normally. I'm so excited we are doing this together!!

Love what you said about "if Jesus can do it for 40 days, we can do it every other day." ADF worked when omad stopped working. YOu cannot NOT lose weight on ADF(sorry for the double negative) . Plus I feel it builds that stoicism that I didn't work on, even with omad for me. For some people it does, for me, i had to go further. Love your vids! And currently have been doing consisted ADF's with some more extended fasts thrown in since Sept 10! Love it!

I think I heard you describe breaking your fast with a little tuna salad sandwich as mayhem. How cute. 😊 You should see Mayhem for me when I break an extended fast and I have the whole kitchen at my disposal. 😂😭 I'm in for the 10-day challenge 💪

Hi Reg! I just started my ADF journey today. I have committed to: OMAD (500 cals or less) on Fasting days with a 23:1; then 2MAD on Feasting days with a 20:4 window, only eating Keto. My plan also includes doing a 20-min walk on my feasting days. I truly enjoy your content, so pls share your 10-Day challenge on ADF with us. It’s my bedtime and I’m feeling good...We got this! I just started with ADF. I’m planning to do ADF for two weeks. I’m doing a full ADF, meaning one day I will not be eating anything just drinking. I’ve been intermitting fasting for almost a month. I wanted to try something else so that I can start losing weight again
I’m almost 7 months on a diet, and I stop losing weight. I was looking on youtube what I can do to start losing weight again, and then I came across ADF.

This is my intake on ADF lifestyle:
.On my eating day, I’m eating salads, vegetables with 150 grams of meat or fish. On my fasting day, I drink water, green tea, black coffee, Apple cider vinegar, and Himalayan salt.

I stay busy. I work 32 hours but besides work, I also work as a freelance advisor. I work out every day. I go on daily walks of 6 miles per day, and I work out with a personal trainer twice a week. The key is to stay busy. I’m losing a kilo every other day and that is actually keeping me motivated. I feel wonderful and I have lots of energy.
