I love Ricky, he is right. The god delusion is an amazing film. I encourage any religious person to watch it

You completely missed the point dude. What Ricky is saying is that we would rediscover science and the knowledge because the tests and experiments we do would yield the exact same results. Even without historical context, the Earth still goes around the Sun, gravity still exists, 1 + 1 still equals 2, and evolution is STILL a fact.

However, if you were to remove the existence of the Bible completely, it would never appear again because people wouldn't make up the same stories. Yes, there is some historical stuff in the Bible, but it's in the same context as a TV show like Downton Abbey. It had WW1, the Titanic sinking and other historical events but the main story was a fabrication.
