I got myself a shiny Larvesta, and evolved it into shiny Volcarona(my favorite pokemon) and named it Mothra

This spot's not as good as you claim. I had to walk back to the exit of the cave to make the Carbink respawn and if I didn't see a shiny I had to find that one specific spot the cave would let me set up a picnic again. After 25 min of this I finally found one but it was not as easy as you said.

Random, but on my first day playing this game while I was running to medali(I think that’s the name of the city) I walked by a shiny ditto and caught it. To this day that is the one and only shiny I have ever found and caught in Pokémon scarlet

the funny thing is that i caught that shiny without me knowing
