You hit the nail on the head Chad. Being on the level of the water, striking that bass while you are in the middle of the pads where no bass boat would go, floating into the brush sometimes unexpectedly, hitting the bottom of your kayak on a log which initially scares the heck out of you, squeezing into tight spots, kayaking a small stream 6 inches deep, going under branches and bridges, and feeling like your one with nature is awesome.  Another thing that it is pretty neat is when I catch a largemouth  within shouting distance to a $15, 000 bass boat. Hehe!
