In 1872, Montgomery Ward had an idea. He would cut out the middleman that permeated the shopping experience for many, which so often drove up the cost for the majority of consumers. His innovation of the mail order catalog would change how shopping done for nearly 100 years, spawning one of the biggest companies in the United States through the 1st half of the 20th century. The catalogs, which started with just a measily 1 page, would grow into an entire book, encompassing over 1000 pages of purchasable items, including houses (from 1908 to 1940). This is how he did it.

Your videos are well put together and cut out a lot of the bs and padding other YouTubers do. Keep it up!

This is a very informative video. I have a question if you could help me. How did the exact transaction take place? Did the customers have to mail the money first along with their order? Or did they pay cash on delivery of the goods? I'm thinking it would be hard to convince rural folk to just send money through mail to a company they've not heard of before

You have good content but you've got to stop using stock footage and images. It cheapens the video and makes it far less interesting. Honestly this is the #1 thing holding your channel back.
