Great perspective! I have a decent set of monitors Adam a5x with sub but I honestly prefer to mix with my Sennheiser HD 650 and my Audeze LCD X headphones. I love to hear the finished mix on my Adams but for me headphones give me a certain level of detail that I miss in speakers. And my speakers are calibrated with sonar works which has made them even better to switch between headphones and speakers! I guess at the end of the day it’s all about what you’re used to or what you get used to lol.

You have to know what kind of bass your speakers can handle before u try and mix the bass on them. It's so true that you have to learn the headphones or the speakers first or you might over do some things like the bass.

l have presonus eris 3.5 studio monitors, are those good to mix with? or is it better to use my Audio Technicas 40x? my room isnt treated that well either lol

How do you keep the muffs from wear and tear I've had the same headphones well the m40s for about 3years
If you were to see them right now all the fake leather Material is cracking or badly pealing away especially on the muffs area
