Blender 2.8, Substance Painter & Unity texturing tutorial

In this video tutorial for 3d texturing I show how to export the Blender monitor model that we created in the previous video as fbx.

The model has NGons but I add a triangulate modifier before I export. Then the model is textured with Substance Painter and in the end I bring it to Unity and add a PBR material with textures in the lightweight render pipeline (LWRP).

hi, i've enjoyed this tutorial and created my own Monitor!! i was wondering if you could add one training about creating cases for "Sony Smartband 2", I already have it's STL but really wanted to know how to design such a things.

You forgot to mask out the lcd when adding the first material, so it was stacked with the second material and would of inherited some of the properties underneath, Ive never used specular workflow before but shouldn’t the smoothness be controlled by the roughness map that’s packed into the alpha channel, shouldn’t that slider disappear?

Better than remove / add new mask to clear it is just hit clear mask. Always one click less. SP hasn't default shortcuts so you click a lot in this software.

Why did you change the display settings in Substance Painter ?
Is it just cosmetic to make the model look cool in substance painter ?
or does it actually have an impact in unity ?
