You need to change the rubber in the top part of the bonnet on the X5! That’s why you had the problem. There is a recall for this rubber sealing, as it leaks water down on the injector, so it will fail again quite soon, as the sealing has gotten worn out! 😊 hope you see this

The noise in the cabin might be your air con compressor. Try driving it as normal then when you hear the noise switch off the air con. If the noise disappears then there is a dry bearing on the pulley on the front of the compressor.

Hey, fellow E70 owner here. Injectors 5 and 6 often go bad because the scuttle panel is designed in a very bad way. It's a 3 piece design and the. Seals of the middle part break letting all the water through dripping down to the back of the engine. I would also get this addressed. Normally you can take off the. Panels and re apply more gasket tape but in my case I had to order new scuttle panels and applied thicker 4mm gasket tape.

Hi Matt, the wheel bearing type noise could be your part worn you had fitted, try swapping the the wheels around and see if the noise moves or disappears, have had this happen to myself in the past.
