Why wouldn't you run the roundover stage in the CNC

Why do you use tabs on vacum table? Just left on last pass 1mm of material then there be no friction on bit to move objects. I have big machine 2x3 meters and never use tabs with vacum table even with small parts.

If you utilize a round bit to perform both operations, flash cut the tabs and make them round.
