I just love the fact that scallops swim exactly like how Spongebob taught us. As a kid I thought it was because they were the equivalent of butterflies, I didn't think they actually swam like that!

This could be a segment on Nick Jr. And I do mean that as a compliment. Educational, calm, but still funny. The editing is excellent, the sound mixing is perfect.

It's cool that he finds all his answers to his questions on the same page of that book every time.

I would go gaga as a child if I saw this on TV. It’s calm and easy to understand. I was always fascinated by the sea, but way more back then as a child. As I grew older, I came to learn how beautiful but terrifying yet enigmatic the sea is. I’d love to explore it someday.

This is the kind of program that inspired me as a child. This is going to be some kid’s first step into being obsessed with biology. Keep doing what you’re doing <3

Every English teaching channel was so boring for me, but now I've found the best channel for learning English. Thx!

I showed this to my 4th grade English class in Taipei, Taiwan. They were absolutely entranced. I wish I took a video of their reaction :) Real talk, these videos are great. The pacing, style, clarity, production, and information are all really well balanced. Thanks for making these! Keep 'em coming, and we'll keep watching!

sea stars, urchins, sand dollars and sea cucumbers are all cousins! they’re part of the phylum echinodermata, with their own unique classifications to further define them (urchins and sand dollars are even more closely related since they’re also in the same class) :) they have extreme regenerative properties, especially starfish, which can completely regrow arms, and if the fallen arm has a piece of the original starfish’s central disk area, a whole new starfish is born! It’s an awesome display of asexual reproduction

This is like when Mr Rogers explains something carefully and by the end you memorize a little thing about how the world works

This is my new favorite channel. These videos are so comfy and easy to get invested into. As much as it makes me feel like a overgrown child, I'm joyed to be made curious.

At first i got the wrong impression, as if you were talking to a 5 year old. But after watching ive grown to appreciate how you construct a very thorough look on marine life. This is like informative asmr. 👏

I have a flame scallop and a tuxedo urchin in my reef tank. They’re definitely one of my favorite invertebrates.

P.S. Many urchins eat algae. Some are omnivores, eating algae and meaty foods that they find while moving around.

Your voice is so calm that while my trypophobia was triggered, your voice relaxed me and helped me focus . That means a lot to me and I thank you 🧡
