Just curious why the door jambs are going in before the drywall? Usually its drywall first, then door jambs. But it seems you made it work so nice job!

why he is not using a bubble level to check the jam is level ?

You didn’t make a jamb. You cut the jamb. No information about what thickness or width lumber to use. No comment about additional jamb width to accommodate the drywall thickness. How much of a gap between jamb and door? What about gap under the door to allow for finished flooring? Too much missing information.

You don’t “root” the hinges. The tool is a router.

How much wider did you make the top jamb? If you made it the same size as the door would it not hit the jamb when opening and closing?
