Can someone remind me of how the sphinx’s faces got damaged moreso than their other parts?

I remember I learned the reason but I can’t remember why.

Also. Quality video. I loved this show and found an “ancient aliens” book in the free bin outside a local thrift store and almost scared my GF with how excited I got.

I visited Karnak once and I recall it being on the West Bank of the Nile not the east bank.

I seen where newer translations of the Emerald Text and the Summarian clay tablets say that the Egyptians didnt build these structures such as the Sphinx, Pyramids or these Temples. They were actually built by the people of Kem and Egypt was called the land of Kem. Recent dating on the Sphinx has it dated to over 12, 000 years ago due to the water erosion on the surrounding walls.Also these great Temples have Egyption Hieroglyphs carved over already existing carvings on the walls and pillars. There is also a Kings list that has hundreds of thousands of years worth of the Pharaohs or Kings that ruled over the land, some of them ruled for over 130, 000 years according to the tablets.
