Minecraft Server administration was my first experience with Linux, command line and Ftp, and I am now an avid Linux user. I also learned many other useful skills like managing staff and troubleshooting crashes. I don't agree with many of the claims in this video, but it's interesting to think about.

RPG's really help me reaching my goals tbh. I always see myself as a charachter, having to level up to get a 'maxed' persona. It's nothing serious, just funny to think 'Wow this is going way easier than previous time I attempted it, I leveled up in this skill. Same goes for my sports and other things. It's not the main motivator, it's just a funny sidetrack I like to think about.

Why so much hate?

I agree and disagree with the overall message. I'm a gamer while at the same time when I was a manager of a small business, some of the worst employee's were those that were gamers. They would stay up all night gaming, have sick days and such. For some work isn't a priority where as gaming is. But it depends on the individual and their attitude to the workplace.

Overall though this was a great video though and isn't to be taken seriously of course. I loved the production too. GJ Margaret Krohn, William Boxx, Alex Engelmann and the actors and actresses.

Gaming makes me a better worker by teaching me to learn my surroundings and "upgrade" tools or "work space" if needed.

I personally played mostly fps/(mmo)rpg games. Situational awareness is something important in those game and in my job as a security guard!:)

its kinda sad
how bad people are at video games when it comes to team work and communities.
People kick each other just because they want to take all the profit or just want friends to be in which isn't fair or right.
and most of the time they're not even good friend or not.
So...
really you just need a workaholic that's also a gamer.
