Yes, there should more unity among the Caribbean Nations. DIVERSITY IS INDEED beautiful and enriching! As the Caribbean region it should also improve and promote interaction and better relations with countries such as Mexico and Central America!

No how, no way. Waste of talk, time. money, and effort. Could happen. Been there done that. * They tried the British West Indies Federation. * They tried the Leeward Islands Confederation. * They tried the Windward Islands Confederation. * They tried the Netherlands 'Dutch' Antilles Federation. * They tried the French West Indies group which also fell apart. In the 1990s the late Patrick Manning formed the "Manning Initiative" where he wanted Barbados, Guyana, and Trinidad & Tobago to unite to confederation and marry Barbados' Financial sector+tourism with Trinidad and Tobago's Oil/gas industry+manufacturing along with Guyana's timber, gold/silver mining industry petrol and large land area for Barbados' overly dense population. Venezuela wanted in on the action and then stated they wanted to build pipelines of oil and gas to Cuba to give the southern Caribbean a huge economic base selling fuel to Cuba and making them all self sufficient and selling to the French West Indies. All that talk fell apart and Manning dead.

I was born in the Dominican Republic but we are stronger together then apart our country’s will be less poor and we could have a better life the United States is a country with different languages and different cultures and religions why shouldn’t we do the same.
