After warming the engine up and letting cool down twice, Just run it in using normal operation. Sure it may decrease the life time of the engine slightly but realistically how often do people have to rebuild outboard motors unless they used the wrong fuel ratio.

Funny video😂 Can’t wait to do this…how much petrol did you use for these 10 hours…? Did you really do it in one go, or did you split the ten hours?

Is that with every outboard engine ???

I'm just gonna send it. If it breaks, that's what the warranty is for 😂. I'll just use my old Johnson while the new one is down for repair

I broke mine in for the first 3 hours in a barrel, changing the water twice because it started to get hot. Then, when I did put it in the water for the first time, I could use full throttle here and there for 5 minutes at a time. I couldn't imagine being on the water for that first 3 hours and having to idling around and use only 1/2 to 3/4 throttle.

Yesh that's BS.
5 Minute warm up.
30 min half throttle.
Then just send it.
After 30 minutes, the rings are set.
I wouldn't spend 10 hours breaking in a new truck motor.
Stop talking crap
