You literally have no idea how helpful this is for me and my partner! We are going to purchase our first house this year and we were duplicitous about whether to go with a broker or our bank! BUT we are deffo going for broker now! We actually started our own youtube channel so we can document/vlogg our whole journey! We will deffo mention your vid in our coming uploads xxx

With my remortgage I did my own research and found a great deal. I went to a mortgage broker and ended up with the exact same deal plus broker fees lol. But they were great nonetheless.

When I did my mortgage initially I defo needed the help of a broker. So I would recommend for first timers. Plus if your on a temp contract a broker will be super helpful.

ALSO look out for broker companies who do an offer whereby you pay a one off fee (usually 500-600) and they’ll give you there services on all your future properties under that fee. I missed out on this but I’ll keep my eye out next time

Thanks sis. I'm currently in the process of buying my first house. Listening to you is helping a lot. My broker is asking my wife and I to pay £750, although I thought she wouldn't charge us but my feeling is to go ahead with it, but my wife is a bit hesitant for two reasons. 1 she is saying we should wait till first of April when the gouvernement backed 95% mortgage goes live, she thinks our broker is rushing it through because she has some arrangements in her benefits with the lender, which is Yorkshire building society. The rates we been offered is 3.99 fives years fixed, 95% mortgage in Southampton. My wife believes we could have better rates if we wait till April. I'm a bit tired about it all and time is against us. What is your advice. Thanks

Great video, im bias 😂 bc im a mortgage agent. But even when I purchased my first home prior to starting my career we used a mortgage professional as well instead of the bank. You hit it right on the nail!! Great video hun!!

Do the brokers charge both the lender a commission and the buyer a fee?

Great to hear you sharing your thoughts...it's easy for us to say all the great reasons to use us, but coming from others is really positive to hear. Thanks :)

Did the mortgage broker apply for the mortgage for you? and directly receive all the information from the lender? I have a broker and he did the application for me, but I don't know if that's the norm. 🤔
