I am Der Geher and I walk through Hausbruch in the southwest of Hamburg. Through a part of the Fischbeker Heath over the Falkenberg it goes into a residential area. Single houses along the way and the Cuxhavener Straße is reached. After the S-Bahn it goes past apartment buildings and through a small shopping center. The path ends at the Neuwiedenthal stop.

Hausbruch was first mentioned in 1545 when Otto I of Harburg had a sheep farm built. But importance had in the area above all the recreation. In the winter of 1913/14, for example, snow was brought from the Harz Mountains for a sledding run on the Opferberg. But the importance dwindled. A district since 1938, in Hausbruch mainly high-rise buildings with apartments were built in the 1960s and 70s. Today, about 16,500 residents live here.
