I also generally prefer standard time! It’s nice to have it light later in the spring and summer, but I get up at 5:30 for work, so I’m with you on having it not be dark.

So first....just coming on here to represent Assistant to the Villain which I LOVED and is one of my favorite books of the year. So....😛

I think what I like about the new Everand is that I am guaranteed to have three books each month. Before, you would be put in "jail" and you had no idea how that worked or when it would happen. Sometimes I would read one and be put in jail. So, to know that I have three books guaranteed to me for 16.99 is pretty awesome, and I can get the rest from my library or Audible or Spotify, etc.

Yeah I was super struggling with assistant to the villain lol- so cringe. Congrats to 5k though!

I had an issue with the pacing of Assistant to the Villain. And then there were no hints of the twist. It was just there.

I've been reading A Shadow in the Ember by JLA (book 1) and can never remember it's title. So it must just be a thing with this series.
