I got my channel to grow putting up shorts daily for 30+ days. I went from 487 subs to over 1K.. However, it's my long content that gives me watch time, ads, etc. I post long content once per week and short videos 2-3 times per. However, my YT page covers a variety of topics and I send out no notifications. Most YT pages with 1K subs have at least 150 uploads, unless you go viral. However, those subs don't watch much or stick.

I try to upload my videos in a group. This way YouTube can bunch them together and send them to a black hole in outer space with just one launch, rather than wasting energy to send each one separately. (see I'm a team player).

What about uploading vs. scheduling the upload? I feel scheduling would simply kill the views being a "fake" live-post
