Minimum 1 video a week for the past year and I've gone from 0 to 50k+ Consistency is key, don't make a video just because you want to post more. Quality > Quantity

I gained subscribers rapidly when I both increased quality and uploads at the same time. When you jump in with both feet, things happen. Most people just don't have the discipline to keep going. Good video, Sean - thank you.

I live on an Alaskan Homestead so is very seasonal. Over the winter I've been doing daily uploads (I'm a new channel and trying to have plenty of content by summer to direct customers through the Farmer's Market toward), but as spring and summer comes, it will need drop back to weekly although have been trying to get a backlog of shorts (farm animals at play, fun fact of the day) and blooper videos to at least pad out the times when I'll be too busy to do more than one video per week.

I officially started my channel in January (2020), but gave it ALOT of thought and research for almost 2 full years beforehand. For me, uploading once a week works best with my schedule. I had also decided to video several at a time to make the most of getting set up and ready - then I saw your videos on batch recording and was extremely happy to be on the right path. I find the scheduling feature on YT very helpful as well, so that I can concentrate on other things while the videos are posting to YT. I work best when I can concentrate on one thing at a time. :-)

I’m currently uploading 3 times a week which seems manageable so far, trying to learn everyday and connect and engage with people too. I want to add value to people as well as use YouTube to document our lives. I am enjoying the editing part so my kids have stuff to look back on too rather than video sitting on my computer doing nothing. Great videos, I always feel like I’ve learnt something new everytime I watch 😁

I’ve posted some on my channel, mostly fun stuff at first, but starting today, June 1st, 2020, I’ve mapped out my content buckets and am preparing to follow the advice of once a week. My content buckets are the following: 1. From Brochure Website to Sales Machine: turning your business website from a cost to an investment 2. Case Study Features: How we help clients get measurable ROI on web projects 3. Interview Series: asking the right questions to the influencers 4. Managing Your Business Website: How To’s & Tutorials Thanks for the tips in this video.

Think Media: “You videos have a possibility of getting views a month later, a year later, even multiple years later...”
Me: watching this video 3 years later.

Revisiting this video, which I watched and took to heart last year. I decided to spend more time on each video and post less often, and saw significantly increased growth. Less can be more when quality is factored into the equation. Look forward to seeing you at the next Vegas meetup!

I'm a new channel that has been uploading once a week. Prior to "going live, " I pre-recorded videos (per your suggestion) so I have about a month's worth already in the can and ready for release. If I keep at my current schedule, I could conceivably upload twice a week. It just never occurred to me to do so. I'm going to give it some thought now. Thanks for the video. I've been watching faithfully since starting my channel and it's been very helpful.

I am inconsistent in posting. I tend to do a lot and then have gaps, because I post my videos when I have them done. I'm committing, now, to posting no more than once a week, and building up an inventory of 10 videos in the background. Then I can go to twice a week. When I can have 5 weeks of videos "in the vault", then I can add another day to my posting schedule. Having that month+ of inventory will take off a lot of the pressure that seems to jam me up. I've been struggling with a strategy for awhile, and watching your video helped me figure this out, finally.

Funny fact: By uploading more, you not only help your own channel. You help others in your niche, too. I have few videos and upload like, once in a lifetime, but I noticed a sudden, BIG upsurge in views during July and August. Now I understand why: During those months, similar channels emerged and started to upload like crazy. Thus, I got lots of views from suggested videos.

As a beginner, working full time 8-4, working out, dinner and what not and trying to get enough sleep. My target is to try to post once a week if I don’t run into problems or family emergencies. Anyone else here relate ? 😅
