A key witness in the Kowalski versus Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital lawsuit – Maya Kowalski – is set to take to the witness stand on Monday.

The Venice family is suing Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital for hundreds of millions for alleged malpractice and false imprisonment. The story of Maya Kowalski and her family is the subject of the Netflix documentary "Take Care of Maya."

The documentary, released back in June, details the family's harrowing experience and the tragedy that followed after Maya was taken away from her family amidst accusations of child abuse and Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

This poor Maya and her family. So evil. A little power can go along way to destroy lives.

There are economic costs to being grievously wrong. Failure to diagnose and persisting mistreatment of a family is a bad scene. CRPS must always be considered, and I guess we will see what the jury thinks about this case.

I know some people that had worked in this place and it is a glorified high school people don’t take their jobs serious just there for the paycheck and imagine of being a nurse or doctor and use that place as a irl dating app people always die and these people are numb to death until someone close to them passes

My excperience with hospital social workers are that they suck. I was in a neutropenic state and the social worker was like you can't go home to your house. You need to find someone who doesn't have pets or carpeting because you're going to be discharged and it was terrifying. In the end, that didn't happen. That social worker was awful. My ex friend who is a hospital social worker is a literal narcissist. I had to explain empathy to her.
