The stories I heard about this woman over 15yrs ago SHOULD have completely destroyed her career. Instead, I’ve heard she’s been used as an “expert witness” in CA/SM cases. She’s destroyed or negatively effected SO many life’s-of families, fellow professionals, but especially CHILDREN.
As both a retired healthcare professional AND a patient born with 2 rare genetic disorders; this case both upsets and encourages me. I’m encouraged because the public is at least seeing one aspect of our very broken, almost solely “for-profit” healthcare system…a dark underbelly that NEEDS a bright light focused onto it.

This so called Dr Sally is a night mare to wheel that kind of power as a volunteer!! This is outrageous.. she was evasive to the questions asked of her !! Absolutely a very shady person!! This poor family ran up against something they where not prepared for!! Hospital should be liable!! 💔😔🙏

This doctor did not stand up well, she looks like and arrogant jerk, she speaks in condescending tones, and thinks she knows it all…even when she has been proved wrong. She didn’t look any further than the end of her turned up nose before deciding she to “recommend” a DCF call and an emergency shelter order. She acted as a hospital employee with credentials to access all records without supervision of a physician on the staff of the hospital, therefore she was acting on behalf of John Hopkins. What John Hopkins did to this family is more than civil, it is criminal.

The power this woman had is beyond frightful added to that is all the lawyers trying to protect the hospital and shielding her horrendous actions in the process. Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital should have settled in shame. I hope the jury gives the biggest pay out possible. No way I would ever bring a child there.

As parents we're damned if we do and damned if we don't...if Beata would have treated Maya like JHACH did and said oh honey.... You don't hurt anywhere.... You're just trying to get out of school.... And then it turned out that the hospital diagnosed would still be accused of child abuse. What does CPS expect of us anyway!?

The sad thing about this trial, is that it provides so many reasons for parents to remain cautious and on guard at ANY Children's Hospital and not all parents are watching.
