china provides military training to Sri Lanka military while it's own PLA needs one.

This is a bilateral matter between two countries and the US has over 1000 bases in the world so, in reference to the GDP, China supposed to have 700 bases today but has 1. China also does trade more than the US so if we consider this then it supposed to have more bases to protect it's assets and communication lines.
