Get ready for the energy revolution of the 21st century! Scientists have made a groundbreaking discovery that could change the world as we know it. For the first time ever, they have successfully achieved nuclear fusion in a laboratory setting, unlocking the potential for limitless, clean energy.

This breakthrough is a major step towards realizing Elon Musk's vision of humanity becoming an interplanetary species. But what does this mean for our planet and the future of energy production?

Nuclear fusion is the process by which two atoms combine to form a heavier atom, releasing a vast amount of energy in the process. This is the same process that powers the stars, and it has been a dream of scientists for decades to harness its power here on Earth.

Thanks to the team at the US National Ignition Facility in California, that dream is now a reality. Using some of the most powerful lasers available, they were able to energize a pellet of hydrogen plasma and trigger nuclear fusion, producing more energy than they put in.

But the work doesn't stop there. The ultimate goal is sustained nuclear fusion, where the process becomes self-sustaining and no external energy input is required. This is what keeps the Sun and other stars burning, and it's what scientists are striving for in the lab.

There are still many challenges to overcome, but this breakthrough brings us one step closer to achieving sustained nuclear fusion and a future powered by clean, limitless energy.

🎄 Happy Holidays everyone! We are grateful for another year with all of you amazing people! Where do you see us, as in humanity, in 100 years? Do you think Elon Musk will take us to Mars? Tell us, we wanna hear!

I can't believe we live in a time where we can see nuclear fusion technology properly advancing. This is so damn cool!

Answer to the last question. Yes I would absolutely love to be able to travel around the solar system, and beyond given the change and technically advancements, just to go outter space alone would be extraordinary.😭

So they didn’t actually do it but they can prove they could do it. It’s different than the sun because of lasers and the presence of air? Is this a vacuum?
Cool video

Its will never be for free or are you realy thinking multimillionaires from energy market will let this come true? They make it like with tesla, they will neber let it on the market

But the rods won't ever last forever. so we'll have a bunch of rods that can't be moved anywhere because no one will move them and no town will allow him to go through so they sit. Where dismantled. those are not forever Even if the fusion would be. why are we bothering when there's natural electricity floating in the air ready for us to bring down?. why do we need all these machines to do anything? when the planet spending creating static electricity between atmospheres builds up so much it makes beautiful Northern lights?? Nokia Tesla tapped into it and so did the pyramids. wireless drove a car.. lit up light bulbs without even a lamp.. I mean it's cool at all. It probably work really good in a spaceship. It can stay out 30 years before it would need to be rebuilt. But if it's nuclear ? that will be nuclear rods involved. they only have a life expectancy of 30 years. to be safe .
