This was a truly insightful and interesting talk. I am a big believer in that thought is creative. I am 36 and let's just say I didn't have the best start to life. My living circumstances weren't great growing up as my mother, who was a single parent, struggled with severe psychiatric issues. This of course led to us living in poverty and a cycle of foster care, hospitalisation of my mother. The cycle repeated and caused so much trauma to me that I developed and eating disorder at the age of 14; I required hospitalisation by the time I was 15 as I was so emaciated. In many way's I think back to that time and now realise that yes my trauma led me down the path of self destruction but the hospital saved my life and helped me combat my self esteem issues to a degree. When I was discharged, in remission from the anorexia I managed to get into college somehow and studies art and photography. I met 3 of the most incredible friends, who I am still close to today. My life was still a mess as I was essentially living alone at the age of 16, with no money etc. But somehow I got through it. As I mentioned I am 36 now and since all the horrific things I witnessed and was subjected to; I have come out the other end much stronger, not amazing but I made it! I have 2 degrees, which was something that really wouldn't have been on the cards for me given my environmental upbringing. I went from poverty to being self sustainable and completely independent. I qualified as a Registered critical care nurse in 2012. When I moved to another city in Scotland, where I am from, my life truly flourished but so did the PTSD from my past, which I have had to battle with. The thought always comes into my mind though; I survived but how? But I know now it is because I remembered that as a child, in the midst of all the calamity and heartache/ poverty etc; that I made a decision! I wasn't going to be a product of my family and become another statistic of the system. I carried that thought my whole life and I truly think it helped me achieve everything I have now. I feel blessed. Yes life could be better, but by god am I grateful for breaking free from what would have been another life! A life with no opportunity etc.

Sorry for this long story. I just found this talk so inspiring and wanted to share. I practice Hermetic Qabalah and have done for a few years now. We really are all one collective consciousnes living a human experience. I feel my life experiences have enabled me to become empathetic and have made me a more compassionate person, Probably why I decided to become a nurse. Thanks Gregg. This really helped me today. I lived for 4 years in my car and painted art, dependent only on what art was sold could I eat . I never begged or asked for help. My emotions and thoughts brought about the paintings and then the people who wanted my art and it fed me.often it seemed that something bigger then me was in control of what I needed and when I could receive it.

And when I got to bed I firstly just sat in bed in a meditative state and thank self for finally understanding that all my searching for God.. Thank you Greg, this is so true. I used this prayer a year now to my patient who can't get pregnant, we did her 2 times IVF failed. I don't know I feel her sadness that time, she is afraid about her husband relationship will gone forever too I always hug her when she was crying and counselled her. After 2 failed IVF procedures, she didn't come back. I prayed for her everyday to have a baby one day. To my surprised, she came back after few months that she pregnant spontaneously no IVF treatment. I can't really imagine, tears of happiness when I saw her. There is really miracle in prayer from your heart. 🙏🙏🙏 Now she is 4 months pregnant, we did her cerclage. Thanks for the universal power for giving her a baby. Bless us all🙏🙏🙏

Today at a grocery store the check out girl explained it was her mom’s bday today and she is getting a surprise party from this daughter. Her mom has cancer and has been going through operations and procedures. I am going to ask my friends tonight to do this method for her mom.
