West L.A. high school counselor slept with 16-year-old student, police say

Police are looking for possible other victims of a high school counselor in West Los Angeles who is accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old boy.

Julie Tichon, 37, committed a "series of sexual assaults" against the teen in February and March of this year, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a news release.

She will be okay, they usually just give female sex offenders a few years of probation and some community service. However, male sexual offenders are doing 20 years right off the bat

Lets be honest She may be a big perpetrator of this incident but that kid is no victim he is partially responsible for not reporting this. Just because he is under 18 doesn't mean he is completely ignorant of the situation that he is in. They treat these kids under 18 like they have a brain of a toddler.

I’m 81 years old, this kind of stuff happened in middle school to one of my friends. It would be interesting to find out if anyone comes forward and why would they. There is a very good chance that all the boys knew about this.
