I love the funny little giggle Layne does after he steals the book.

This quickly became one of my top Voiceplay favorites! Besides the absolutely mind-blowing arrangement and vocals, there's the visual story that's going on. Its like the 4 "trolls" are just messing with this magic book, and Rachel is trying desperately to keep possession of it as their "dabbling" starts going off the rails. The end is hilarious when they all look panicked as she regains control....the split screen with all their faces shows the guys practically begging and looking terrified..then she banishes them. LOL. It is epic! Plus....Cesar dancing the Can Can. Just the cherry on top!

This is, to date, the most visual effects VP have ever added to a video, and Layne did an absolutely amazing job.

We need a full version of Night on Bald Mountain.

apparently when Cesar stole Geoff's voice, the voice was sung by Layne: when he stole Rachel's voice, it WAS Rachel's voice, but with effects on the track.

Thanks for the reaction. I was going to recommend this music video to you because of its special effects. First heard on the Sir Hairless channel.

I love the carrot Easter egg, when Layne does his part the fire goes green and orange to look like a carrot 😂 plus this time his horns are green 🥰

I also love the little giggle he does when he has the book 😁

Thank you Jeffrey for another great reaction to Voice Play. Layne is definitely the master of Chaos. Gotta love him. He is so much fun.

That low note of Geoff's that you were wondering about at the end of Symphony No 5 in C Minor is an F#1. Geoff has hit that note in chest voice (not a subharmonic) before, and I think he did it here, but I'm not absolutely certain.

Not quite the same set. For Mountain King, Layne hauled in a few tree branches. This time Layne and Tony hauled in 32 trees and another 10 hand painted tree trunks for a whole forest. It’s been in their studio for months and they been using it for Pattycake videos as well. (For example, the latest video in their Villians Lair series)

Toward the end, Layne moved the audio along by using a chant behind the singing. He took his inspiration for it from the talking trees at Disney’s Tiki Room, so it sounds vaguely Hawaiian. But it’s completely from Layne’s imagination, as is the rest of the video.

And the part where you said Cesar must have been using helium? If you watch carefully, he was using the book’s spells to steal Geoff’s and Rachel’s voices. So that was Rachel’s voice you heard. But the low (Geoff’s voice) was actually Layne singing the part.

I think Rachel's Entrance as the Witch was awesome... And in the end, she pulls the ultimate Mike Drop exit.

I recognized all of the pieces but could only name a couple of them. Layne's beatboxing was incredible!!

Cesar is quite capable of reaching soprano levels. Check out their cover of the lion sleeps tonight!

Layne did a fairly recent YouTube interview with Elizabeth of The Charismatic Voice discussing his arrangement of Classical Chaos.

The classical pieces are all listed in the information on the video.
Voiceplay is good about that.

So much fun. These guys are just the best with originiality. Who else could do this. Who else would want to perhaps. But so happy they do.

Strangely enough, the CanCan was especially appropriate for this since it's from the opera Orpheus in the Underworld. Its from a scene where there's basically a party in Hell.
