Fun fact; they did a take where Geoff was included in the Fus Roh Dah but they couldn't use the take because the camera got sent halfway across Whiterun.

Geoff must have taken the voice of a dragon long ago but somehow the others ended up with the voices of angels and sirens.

The captions at the start saying "gentle acapella music" as Geoff enters the room with his voice booming with bass 🤣

Is it just me or does Geoffs voice touch a part of your ears and soul no one else has

This is going to be very bittersweet. I had started showing you guys' videos to my mom back in October of 2020 after I had just discovered Voiceplay and you guys grew on her so quickly just like y'all did on me as well. She had heavily grown very fond of Geoff and his immense range very quickly. It hurts so much to say that my mom passed away 2 weeks ago and not having her around anymore to show what all you guys will put out from here on out is going to be extremely difficult. Especially this one because today is my mom's birthday. She would have seen this as a birthday gift that's for sure.

Edit.. wow I, saying that I am speechless by the amount of likes, the outpouring of support would be the biggest understatement I seriously didn't expect this many people to reach out. I'm utterly overwhelmed. This is, sincerely, thank you everyone. It means more than the world to me this community absolutely blows my mind. And to everyone else that has suffered loss, be it recent or distant, please know you all have my deepest heartfelt condolences

Voiceplay, be it current, former or future members and past and future feature vocalists. Everything y'all do or have done will definitely be a gift I'll get to share with my mom on an ethereal level

I wish Skyrim actually started with 5 dragonborns singing at a tavern.

I see someone studied at the Bard's College.

Edit: One year later, and I still get chills. My favorite part is when they Shout/sing "Fus Ro Dah" and Eli just carries that "Dah" straight on into the song. SOOOO good.

PSA: *Do NOT do what I did*

Thinking to appreciate the acoustics of the song as much as possible, I put this video on my home theatre and settled down to enjoy the show. Unfortunately, a pair of lizards that happened to be scurrying around nearby heard it and evolved into dragons, burning down my house as they did so. I barely escaped with my life. To all of you about to watch this video, either use headphones or ensure there are no reptiles within a fifty-metre radius of your setup! 😠😠

Could be me just bassing out, but the like arpeggio that Geoff did by himself at 3:03 is one of the most incredible things I’ve ever heard him do.

I'm not a gamer and I have no idea about anything from Skyrim, other than this is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard! I may not be a gamer, but I'm not a novice to otherworldly aesthetics.
Totally mesmerizing and honestly beautiful.

I love how Laynes character, sitting in the back, lets us know without any fuss that he is dragonborn. No yelling, just the release of the smoke.. Quietly stating he is one of them

When they sang "My Mother Told Me" I was literally hoping for them to make a rendition of this song and now its here!

I didn't KNOW I needed a Skyrim mod that replaces the audio for all the shouts with Eli, but I sure do now.

Children tell the truth:
Today my oldest grandson (14 years old) heard Geoff for the first time. He only whispered: This is just perfect.

Yes! The legendary VoicePlay warriors have returned!

Edit: We need a VoicePlay Warriors album! With My Mother Told Me, Hoist the Colours, The Dragonborn Comes, Halo, and Warriors (and hopefully more to come). That would be epic! Like if you agree!

An Imperial barbarian, a Dunmer battlemage, a Bosmer archer, a Breton necromancer, and a Nord Jarl hang out in the Palace of Kings ready to belt out a classic.

Seriously gentlemen, you have outdone yourselves with this arrangement and performance. Skyrim means so much to so many of us and you have given this song beautiful new life. Thank you VP for all that you do.

I love how at the beginning it says [gentle acapella music] as the dragon lord starts singing

Geoff's voice has the power of the ancient Nord arts, that's for sure
