I've had high blood pressure since my late 30's. Idk why no one has suggested this to me. Thanks for the review. Imma definitely try it.

I haven't tried Morton's salt substitute yet but I plan on trying it. I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure so I'm living a low-sodium low-fat diet in addition to a low sugar low carb diet since I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 11 months ago. I have been using the Nu-Salt salt substitute for almost a week now and I enjoy it. It really tastes like salt to me. I've heard that the Morton salt substitute taste even more like real salt though so I want to try it. The only downside to these salt substitutes is that their main ingredient potassium chloride instead of the sodium chloride in salt so they say that individuals with kidney problems or individuals who are taking certain high blood pressure medications should avoid the salt substitutes which contain potassium chloride or at least use them in moderation. I use it sparingly because I do take 100 mg of losartan for my blood pressure once per day.

It's best to add it to food after you have cooked it. Not before or during cooking. Also, you only need a fraction as much. A pinch goes a long way.
