Everyone saying go get a girlfriend is missing the point of the movie, some people would do almost ANYTHING to not be lonely. One of the movies main themes was loneliness and how it can impact someone, it wasn’t trying to normalize falling in love with your damn computer, it’s trying to raise awareness of one of the biggest growing issues of modern society, loneliness, particularly male loneliness and how men will do anything but actually address the problem, and since females handle being alone differently.
