When I was young, some slangs catch on (or catched on?). But nowadays, they died out. Eventually I catch on that trends come and go...

Well, I remember my art teacher in secondary school said:Fashion is a circle. It died out for a while and then catch on later. I think it is absolute right. Flared trousers used to be very popular when I was round eight. Then, people didnt wear them anymore. Now, it is back!

Hi Jennifer. Another two interesting phrasal verbs!

I swear the first thing that came to my mind before you even mention it was bell-bottom pants because my father did give me a pair of bell-bottom pants when I was in the high school. Maybe, that trend caught on when I was a child, but to be honest, I didn't like to wear them back then. I think that trend have been died out way long before that time.

Long-sleeve stripped flannet shirts, long hair bots, and all the grunge style was something that cought on when I was a 15-year-old boy. And I think that it died out at the end of the Twentieth century I don't know 😆please point out and correct my grammar mistakes teacher! Thanks for The lesson!

When I was a child used to enjoy songs by walkman but after few years it had been died out because of invention of smart phones and other electronic devices

There was a time when jagjit Singh's GAZALS caught on. Everybody liked to listen. These days liking for the GAZALS has died out. Rap music is more popular rather.

Aproximately in 2010 Shakira's songs caught on, nowadays you barely hear something about her, it's like she died out.
