Hi Jennifer dear.
I must say you are certainly not dragging on with phrasal verbs' series. You are helping millions of language learners like me and we thank you for that.
Let me try today's phrases.
1. Politicians are habitual of dragging on with their rhetorics but this time around people won't fall in their trap.
2. We shouldn't remain glued to our past. We have to snap out of our bitter experiences and move forward.
3.Yes it does, but then my mum chips in with some inspirational advice and helps me snap out of it.
Please check my grammar.
May God help you in your endeavours.
With regards,
Hilal.

I have just seen Carol Burnett for the very first time and would agree that she would end anyone's bad mood. She's quite a character.

Hi Jennifer!
Here my answers:
1. Sometimes; but I try not to let my bad mood drag on for a long time as I think is dangerous for my health.
2. Yoga can help me snap out of a bad mood, because it steers my attention on a possitive direction, it centers my attention on my inner self.

Rarely, but it happens when I'am in a bad mood, usually it doesn't drag on. Therefore, a little alcohol can help me snap out of it)

Comedy on the TV helps us snap out of bad moods, but we get a doze of frustration when the commercial breaks interrupt our laughter. I watched a few episodes of Friends recently. A very funny show it is, but the mind-numbing adverts really spoils the enjoyment and sadly brings back our bad moods. I guess we just can't win.

My current job is dragging on for the last ten months. I usually watch videos, especially related to English, to snap out of it. By the way, English is the light of my life.

Six years ago, my fiancee broke up with me  after just six months of our engagement. My bad mood dragged on for months and took me a long time to snap out of it. I am not sure if I had completely healed, but as time passes, everything goes on. As for me, I think a new love would help me snap out of it for sure.

Hi Jen,
1. My team will have lunch together at my house this weekend and each person will chip in his/ her dishes or wine. ( Can I use "chip in" in this case?)
2. I think it depends on what kind of bad mood you are in. For example, when my father passed away, I feel like my heart broke into pieces and this dragged on for years. And I think, there's nothing could snap me out of this feeling (at least upto now). However, in a different situation like breaking-up with my boyfriend or the odd was against my project, this just dragged on for days or weeks. I snapped out of this by practising yoga or having a nice cup of tea/ coffee or putting more efforts in the next project.
Thank you!
