Great video as always. With AAPC Xternship you do have to not only be an AAPC member but also have passed your exam & be certified before you the site will provide any further information to places where you can reach out to do an xternship.

Hello! I am planning to take Medical Coding online coure in AHIMA. After further research I was kind of worried that I might not land a job because I don’t have first hand experience or the need of externship and intership since most of the employers want some experience. Does everyone receive a CPC-A... regardless of the program they attend online? You must get a job, to get experience to have it removed?

I wish had of taken this program in person. I feel so lost with everything. I’m at the end where I’m starting to study for the exam, but I kind of want to give up. Online was not the best option for me.
