Now I understand why I've been ostracized from the church because of my suffering. They cannot understand it. So I have been labeled as an apostate. These people have no understanding how devastating it is that something you believed so deeply, you now see as having been lied to for decades. PTSD and trauma do that to a lot of people and churches do not know how to handle people who suffer so deeply. These Christians push them further away and eventually label them apostates. I reached out and got shoved aside. There is a reason a generation of people are becoming "apostates". It for the same reasons I have. Keep preaching and not understanding what the church is doing. The fodder of the church is everywhere. I wish it wasn't true. I believed deeply for decades.

So if you were taught the Bible as a child but because mental, emotional, physical, sexual, spiritual abuse by religious family members and people in church( not pastors or priest) and as a child (teenager) turn to other faiths without attacking God himself. Are you and apostate or unbeliever?
