C’mon you’re either doing this for clicks or you really don’t know the story. First George didn’t say Led Zeppelin couldn’t write ballads, he said the only problem with them is that they didn’t do any ballads. Page said “alright, i’ll give him a ballad” and wrote the Rain Song. Yes Jimmy admitted to quoting the first two notes from the Beatles’ Something but he did it as a tip of the hat to George for inspiring the song, not as a diss track. Don’t spread false information, next thing you know you’re gonna have a bunch of gen Z’s thinking the rain song was Led Zeppelin dissing the Beatles.

Except it’s not even a real ballad. It’s just another one of their slow songs just with some added superficial orchestration. So, they didn’t even really clap back, and The Beatles were right.
