I really like the idea to use books as structured guide. Otherwise is easy to fall in between chairs.

thank you so much, sir my life rely on programming now, I am unskilled labour, and moved to learning web development now I have learned basics of html and css and now I am moving to learn javascript, I was looking for good reference books for javascript, my question is all those book you have shown here, are they good for absolute beginners?

Cheers Shane great video!! I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. From personal experience, I have learn a lot too practicing with the debugger. Going line by line through the execution of a program helps gaining confidence :) . I have a question for you: I guess it might depend on the industry and languages employed, but on average, what paradigm of programming is most in demand today? Maybe OOP? Have a great day!!
