My dad plays one of the train Conductors....filmed in western NY. He was so proud of his few seconds of fame. ❤️

John Candy deserved an Oscar nomination for this movie. Absolutely sublime.

"I like me, my customers like me, and most importantly my wife likes me".

One of the most touching scenes in the movie.

John Hughes is a Legend. The 1980's would be severely diminished without him.

Love this movie. My husband would watch it and laugh hysterically. Even though my husband passed away years ago my sons and I still watch it every Thanksgiving and laugh even harder at the parts that "dad" liked. ❤️❤️❤️🦃🦃

oh man, this is one of my top10 all time favorite movies: I laughed, I cried ... at the same time. This movie has more heart than an anatomy lesson.

Such a great movie i purposely make sure it is watched every year around the holidays. Just saddens me how we all lost John Candy way too soon.

I did not see the ending of this film coming at all. Totally blind sided me and a credit to Hughes for hiding it so well. I went from laughing my ass off to suddenly feeling tears well up in my eyes. It cemented the film as a classic. Its one of the Holiday Essentials. Out side of the silly GREAT comedy it is a beautiful film. John Candy oh the humanity

I remember watching this movie as a kid with my parents and the "fuck" scene came on. My mom scrambled to turn if off as my dad sat next to me laughing his head off. Good memories over a great film.

This movie has been a tradition for my family and I every year around Thanksgiving. One of the greatest films ever made. I can quote it the whole way through but it never gets old. I wish John Candy could have been with us a little longer but his memory lives on in the awesome films he did! It sure was a different world when these movies were made. Makes me wanna go back in time...
