The AMD Ryzen 3 4300GE is a low power version of the OEM 4300G. With a 35W TDP it's ideal for energy-consumption-conscious PC builders, if they can find one of course.

Today we're seeing how well this APU in combination with it's integrated Radeon graphics can handle gaming.

Just a quick question, do you keep all your hardware you reviewed over the years? And if so, it would be cool to have an entire hardware collection video. (Maybe a 500k sub special).

Some overclocking on both processors and the ram would help a ton, although it might surpass the TDP of the CPU itself. I mean, you could overclock really high on the CPU if you raise the TDP just a bit.

A good little chip all in all, I have a 3200GE in my collection so it was nice to see what it’s bigger brother can do.

You got r3 pro 5350ge, r3 5300ge, r5 pro 4650ge, r7 pro 4750ge, and a bunch of 35w pro workstation prebuilt cpus on the second hand market right now. great for building a cheap nas because all ryzen pro and b450 mobos have ecc ram support.

Bought a cheap prebuild for a friend with this thing, and it's really doing a great job for his needs of music production and even video editing!

It’s great to see these APUs’ and the new Ones coming out shortly from AMD which should get many ultra budget e-sport and older title game PCs’ some vg performance out of the box.

I reviewed the 4350G last year, basically the same chip with higher stock clocks. It's a damn shame, I picked mine up from AliExpress in Dec 2020 for about £90, they've since rocketed up in price to over £120- exactly the same price as the 6 core 4650G!

I really wish AMD would drop a new $60 APU like they did two years ago with the 3000G- but with four real cores. That would be the budget king today. But who am I kidding- the GPU street pricing would have people paying double or triple that used like they do with the other Gs now.

Genuinely impressive performance from this thing!

If I didn't have a PC already (from 2014) then this would be my cpu/system for my mini itx case. Great performance and great temps.

I bought pre-build PC with this processor and single channel 16gb ram 3200mhz in september 2021 and i can say im very happy. Now im buying another 16gb ram 3200mhz for 46euros, so i will boost my gaming fps even more. Not planning on graphics card, still thinking should i buy 144 hz monitor though

Such a great APU, was taking forever for 5600G to show up so i bought 4300GE instead for parents and it didn't disappoint. If i have to choose now for the same money i'd probably go for i3-12100.

A thought I had about GTA 5. The minimum specs for the game are a q6600 and a 9800gt. Those are the same specs as a high-end gaming PC from 2007, which was an 8 year old PC back when GTA 5 came out for the PC.
A high end PC from 8 years ago, early 2014, would have a 4770k and a GTX 780ti/R9 290x.
