Great video, but isn’t it better to have the suspension loaded when you install the subframe connectors?

I think this is the easiest and best for a good burn out car where you don't plan to put more than 300 HP, I plan to put some 1 inch welds, especially on the leaf spring end, but the one thing I haven't seen on any video's is to check measurements to make sure my older car is still square, I know my 69 coupe was abused pretty good. Just a thought.

Any idea if these would fit 1969 Mercury cougars?

Will these be in the way if I wanted to add traction bars too? Do one or the other? If I can do both, do the subframe connectors first?

Super cool! Would it make any difference in terms of rigidity in welding the subframe connectors vs leaving the bolts? Also, I can't imagine someone would want to remove them for some reason... in which case bolt would be easier hahaha.
Love the Videos!!! Can't wait until you guy get to the engine and hopefully a t5 tranny or any other manual.

why would you even think this was anything but an anchor? absolutely no rotational or twisting rigidity. perhaps a slight bit of lifting support. One way to check is to jack the car on the new frame support and watch the action. It will bend like a banana most likely.
