I am from South Africa, and I constantly hear how Americans refer to us being less fortunate. But our relationship with God has to do with more than that, being delivered from traumatic experiences, hurt pain, finding peace and unconditional love from God, which has nothing to do with finances because those things automatically follow.

True biblical fasting is abstaining from all food for a certain period of time!!!
Not taking certain phone calls is not fasting but concecration

Biblical fasting is basically from food and though abstaining from distractions and false comforts is part of the process of sanctification it’s not fasting
