Solutions don't work, if my Philips Smart TV has a black screen how am I supposed to see to select which source my TV is connected to?

Very helpful video as it worked on the first try.
Just one more question if you have knowledge about this.
So, yesterday, out of the blue, while eatching tv the screen turned black but the sound was still on and aparently i could keep changing channels, so i thought that the tv has died on me.
Then i tried to restart, and the philips welcome logo apears on the screen (so it is not broken) but the. It goes to black again.
I tried your method from the video and it works…the image is good foar about 1 minute and then it goes black again, so i am adsuming that it is a software problem. So, now coming to my question, any other hints on how to solve? Would a new software instalation work? Would factory reset maybe work?

Omg, the unplugging for a minute really worked. My tv does it often & I don’t know why. I usually have to wait hours for it to randomly start working again, but thanks! 💪🏾

This television is about 2 years old now it's starting to do this black screen brand new. I have looked it up on YouTube that I unplugged it did everything it said to do is still does not work. I can't use the remote to select anything if I can't see nothing. It's been 2 days what should I do now.

Mine switched on but it's like the brightness has turned all the way down so I can't see anything unless I'm up close and at a certain angle. I'm kinda clueless to these things so I assumed that the TV has some sort of a backlight, light how the old Gameboys used to have. Parents TV wasn't working. They didn't believe me about the plug. Sent them this. TV is now working! Thanks for convincing my mum and dad that I'm not pulling their leg!!!

If the settings for Brighnes, contrast or colours (saturation) are too high, the backlight wil be switched off. So reduce these settings to normal. Unplug from the mains, wait more than 60sec and restart. Go quickly to the settings and reduce to normal.
