It is a NICE looking truck. But, it is ALSO another Truck I cannot afford.

In 2004 this truck would cost $27, 000 when a median household income was $36, 000. In 2024 it costs $45, 000 with a median household income of $69, 000. That means this 2024 Ranger is 65% of your yearly household income. In 2004 a $27, 000 truck was 75% of your household income. It's safer, it's more powerful, it's more efficient and it is a better deal than what you would have gotten 20 years ago. People don't understand inflation, they truly don't.

I have a 21 ranger tremor and love it. Nice to see the updated interior on new gen. Great powerful little truck. I store a ton beneath rear seat & behind. So it’s same this new gen, but I wish they did 60/40. If you have a car seat on one side you can’t access any storage. But great truck great review!

After testing all of the midsize pickups, this truck is what will be purchased when the 2.7 v6 comes out. I'm 6'1" and I can sit behind myself with knee room to spare. Perfect for my family.

I like it. I only need enough bed space to haul my kayak and mountain bike, preferably at the same time. Appears way more affordable than the Tacoma. It would be nice to be able to get cloth seats and their premium audio package.

90% a great truck with obnoxious cost cutting. Keyed ignition on $45k truck? No 60/40 bench, no rear vents. Ford seemed to try and add as many deal breakers as they could intentionally. They seem to have no interest whatsoever in growing their markets have in the midsized segment.

Which has a better history/reputation to last longer the 2.3 or the 2.7? The versatility of that truck is astounding- roomy seats, high payload, good towing, off road features and easy to drive size plus good power!!?? I’m am sold! Good video, thanks- I subscribed! (Ford-please make a 6ft bed available)

It’s funny how Ford was against reintroducing the Ranger at one time saying there was no need for it and pricing would be too close to the F150, so they told people buy a F150. Then they came out with the Ranger and Maverick. Go figure?

I paid $7000 for my Ford Ranger.
Its a 2008 XL
4.0 L V6 engine.
Ive had it for 5 months and never had to repair or replace anything.
Its been very reliable and dependable.
I bought it from the original owner who took good care of it.
Im glad to have it.

Ford took too long. i ended up buying a GMC Canyon AT4 and couldn't be more happier.
Damn good review, i subscribed.

My full size crew cab fits in my garage just fine, can even drop the tailgate with the door closed. They could add 4 - 5" to the midsize and still fit in a garage.

Everything is digital, yet, it doesn’t have push start up button. 😂

thank you for mentioning visibility. Tacoma is the worst at visibility because they prioritize design over function. Plus this is built in USA vs Mexico for tacoma. lets see how it does on crash tests and i might be a buyer

I am very impressed with the payload rating.

I don't understand these comments about the price? Have any of you been to the grocery store lately? Have you purchased a large appliance for your home? Have you had doors or windows replaced in your home? Have you had to replace the hvac system in your home? Everything is expensive. Material and labor cost to manufacture something is incredible! It just gets filtered down to the end user. The mid size trucks are all fairly close in price. If you can't afford it, don't buy it!

My 2022 Nissan Frontier was less expensive and has more features, the best of which is a non-turbo V6.

Wow!!! The 2025 Ranger 4x4 with the 2.7 V6 twin turbo motor is the Ranger to get. Motor has 400ft lbs of torque and has a good history. The motor is a beast. The Ranger exterior + interior looks much cleaner and better than Tacoma and other mid size trucks. Definitely at top of my shopping list.
