nice family Nick. you should cherish them kids they will grow up fast. At least you have some videos to show them in the future. I rode in the combine with my grandfather and uncle. I miss those days. I could spend all day as a kid in the tractor with grandpa. my nephews ride with me very often. I makes me proud to see your family and mine teach the next generation the value of hard work.

Kids nowadays have it easy, our old 750 Massey was loud and dirty and cramped. It was so much nicer when the 1460 IH came along. Those concave modules look lighter than the ones for the older combines, and the access is much improved. Happy harvesting to ya, we cut our winter wheat in IL in late june it averaged around 75 bushel and little to no vomitoxin. Was pretty pleased, we double crop soybeans after wheat if they keep getting rain and the first frost is late they could make 25 or 30 bushel. Good luck and be safe

It's nice to see family and friends been around. A lot of people forget what it means to have the family/friends around while been at work. It's something those city folks don't ever get to share. Hook up with the flying Cowboys. They can do some super flyby and other videos while you guys do the cutting. Would be awesome to see

Love the family time riding with ya sir. I remember as a child the memories and time spent with my grandfather and father on our family farm. The best part is now that I am older, along with my siblings we get to do the same with our children. Gpa still enjoys the ride with the great grandkids as well. 93yrs old and the man is still making those memories! Ty for the videos and content, my family to yours sir.

Good job getting her the Big Chevy SUV. Loved my GMC Yukon XL Denali. It saved me and my boys life when we were rear ended by a truck traveling at 60 mph and not hitting the brakes, as we were stopped on the highway at a red light.. The only injury was my 13 year old getting a busted lip from his phone flying out of his hands, hitting the dash, bouncing back and hitting his lip. We were all very soar the next day, but no other injuries. Needless to say but the SUV was totaled. His front end was smashed, as his steel bumper crushed in to his engine.

I'm 60 now but I still rember sitting on dad's lap and steering the tractor. That's pretty cool.

This has happened at all times, the kids start early, and later take over the farm.
This is what makes agriculture continue generation after generation.

Nick your kids are adorable man. I like how the videos have a mechanical segment with legarms now! Scott is a smart man, I’m an equipment mechanic myself and I’m always impressed with his skills. I notice all the equipment that pulls out of the Welker driveway makes a lot of black smoke haha👍god bless guys.

We got back to harvesting our peas after an inch of rain, headers running in the mud and peas testing 22, into the air bin they go. 2300 acres of peas to go. Good job Welkers and hope your wheat is a pleasant surprise as well.

Love the dog riding as much as the dog loves riding. In the eighties I had a border collie that rode in the combine, tractors and practically lived in my pickup. Still miss Sasha😔
