300k Mile NSX Refresh: DIY PPF? We tried! (and review the experience)

After going through the trouble to replace the bumper cover on our 300,000 mile NSX, we wanted to keep it looking nice-er that what it did before. So...We tried to DIY a PPF install on the front bumper cover. This isn't a how-to, because we frankly didn't know what we were doing, but this is a review of the experience of making the attempt at installing paint protection film ourselves...maybe our experience will push you to try it yourself, or to pay someone else.

Based on the vid you took afterwords it looks really great imo. Especially compared to the bumper as it was beforehand. How much time did you spend putting the bumper PPF on? Do you plan on doing the hood an roof? My NSX had some pitting on lights, hood, and roof just from long drive trips.

What size is the syringe you used for the touch up paint? That’s a fantastic idea!

looks great for a battle worn machine. if it was white, you wouldn't see any flaws.
