After all the difficult videos dealing the "Mess" and other social issues wtached today, it's so good to see families hanging together out doing positive things. I cant help but notice the children's voices in the background eagerly running to an adult with a "find". Hours were not spent staring at a screen (phone, game, or TV), instead they had fresh air, sun, nature, and the best of all, connection with parents and safe adults. No fossils can match what their souls, hearts and spirits gained that day, which should be normal, but is not for too many.

Watching kids outdoors loving to learn are the best on YouTube. The spark created during those times can rage into a career for some (like it did for me) but good memories for everyone. Keep up the great work!!

This was so cool! Fossils, a brook, happy kids keeping busy and creating wonderful memories! They get big so fast. My 5 are all teens now. This is 1 of my favorite videos you've done.

I honestly didn't think kids still like doing this. I was always after fossils, quartz rocks & arrowheads as a kid. Im very impressed. Great job with the kids.

Hi Cliff, wow some very cool finds there, that hole was kind of interesting too, it may be modern though as in someone looking for other fossil's could have a tool that is totally round and when they banged it in the ground it made that hole. Those Trilobite's were awesome finds as they are fairly hard to get find unless you know where to look. I did find an intact very small lizard once and I passed it on to the Ashmolean Museum for id, they did say what it was but as I was only around 15 at the time I have forgotten but it was 3 quarters of a million years old which is fairly young but still a cool find. x

OMG this was so cool to see... infusing these youngsters with what our nature has to tell us... wow... just lovin' I did this with my kids and still to this day I add items as I find them to share with the collection.... a fishing tackle box came really handy let's just say :)
